Fix Internet Explorer (IE) PNG Alpha Display Issue – Web Designs

 

Well , Faced this issue while i started designing web pages , the problem was with IE Versions of 6 and Prior Only , while Rest of the Browsers still showed my Pages with PNGs as it is , only IE blurred the PNGs out and disabled Transparency . It was one of the Flaws of IE no doubt. As usual Designers had to develop IE Hacks to achieve proper display of PNG over IE 6 and Prior , Are you using IE7/8 And dunno what i am talking about ? Ok , Use a Transparent PNG in any editor save the file and view it in BrowserShots , Select prior IE browsers and see how PNG is displayed over there.

Network Burst Hack / Trick

 
You Probably heard about “Burstable bandwidth” or “Network Burst” if not then Let me tell you about it.This feature mostly isn’t available for Normal Home Users but plans like Leased Line. This feature ensures that you can get a Burst in the Network when the Traffic or the Load over the network is too much.
That means that the current bandwidth can be so called “OverClocked” or “SuperCharged” with more 2way Bandwidth (Incoming as well as Gigged up Outgoing Bandwidth).
So why is this trick not so famous one around you may ask me.Here is the reason. First of all you need to comply to a few conditions as given below.
  • You have to be a Broadband User Using xDSL (ADSL etc) / Cable / NOP (Net On Cable) .
  • Your ISP should be using Network Equipements of “Cyberoam INC” (excludes Datacard , BSNL , WLL users ).
  • You should be Using “Cybroam Client” as your Network Manager (This should be provided by your ISP).

Now if you fullfill all of the above mentioned Points then this Trick will work for you.
Now in the Older Versions of Cyberoam Client there was a Security loophole (Ver 1.3.1.1) , this loophole let us do the Bandwidth Boosting.
But how can we do this ?
Here is the Logic – Inside the Network we are Connected to the Gateway , But the Thing is that In the older version Gateway’s Network managing softwares aren’t so good at monitoring and hogging bandwidth so the management part’s job is left on the Cyberoam Client.
And this is how it works
1 > The PC Starts the Cyberoam Client.
2 > Cyberoam Client Tried to Fetch the Data Regarding the Bandwidth the User Should get from the Server.
3 > The Server returns the Bandwidth Information after a Successfull validation of User’s Login Info.
4 > The Cyberoam Client Starts an Internet Connection and manages the Bandwidth (Both Incoming and Outgoing) so that we can’t exceed the Bandwidth limit we are allocated with.
So how are we gonna do network burst ?
A very simple answer , We need a trick that will let the net connection be consistenly live and the Management of Bandwidth shouldn’t be there.To do this we simply have to make the Client crash and have to keep the connection alive and really busy so that the “Logout” command doesn’t reach the Server and so we will be able to do this in a Simpler way.
Overall explanation of the Trick , Start a connection , Start a file download to fill up the Multiple Connection Bandwidth at highest then crash the Bandwidth Manager and the Download Speed should be reaching at its highest levels now.
This happens because as soon as we crash the Client the Client tries to Send a “Logout” command over the network , but due to heavy traffic (Full usage and consistency of Bandwidth) the Response is Slow so eventually the Client Crashes due to a Hung Up condition and losses control over the Bandwidth and we can now use the Bandwidth to the Full extent as we can. Here is a Pictorial Tutorial for that.
First off all i want to clarify that the Time i Compiled this Article i had a 128Kbps Connection .

You should Note that i posses
a 128 KiBPS Plan
in which the maximum reachable limit is 16 Kilobytes per seconds 
so technically i can’t exceed this limit of 16 kilobytes per seconds
To do this trick after you start your PC , Login to Cyberoam Network Manager , 
Start uTorrent and download a torrent file from the net and allocate the space for that torrent file and start downloading , now as i already did that i am gonna skip a few steps.

Now i am gonna show you the uTorrent window , in which i am currently downloading a file which is more than 900 MB , now look at that horrible speed here , its around 10 kbps , So how about a gigged up speeds here , ok.
Now there are two ways to Crash the client.
1 > End / Kill the Task From “TaskManager”
2 > Exit the Client When Highly Packed Bandwidth downloades are going on/
We are gonna perform a Simple “Exit” here and that should be enough if Heavy Downloads are going on.
So after you are Started with the uTorrent Job. Just Right Click on the “CyberoamClient” icon and Select “Exit” as shown above. 
Now carefully look at the Download speed of the Torrents , They would have increased.
Mine Increased like this sequence.
After that got changes and increase in Speeds like these given Below
And even after applying the Same trick as above i was able to download Open Solaris November 2008 Edition of 687MB under 20 Mins with avaerage speeds like “487 kbps”.
I use this trick to download much bigger files (Mostly Torrents which are heavily seeded).
Note : This trick will work on Connections which are active now.Due Net disconnection no new connection request can reach the servers however Older and Consistent connections will persists.Works with Bit-Torrent Clients , IMs , Download Managers like IDM , FlashGot , FDM etc.

How to Reset or Clear the Adminstrator Password

 

OK , here is a guide which should enable you to reset or erase the administrator account’s password using a less priveledged or restricted account on a Local Computer [Not Remote Domain]. 

OK so here is a Short Intro on what you need and what is this about.
You Need
  • A User Account on XP / Vista / Windows 7
  • Access to Command Prompt [cmd]
Note : This is the easiest hack made for resetting / hack Admin password using any other User Account Present on the Same Domain. This hack uses a command console program named “net.exe”
Following are the Procedures to do that.
  • Open the Command Prompt (Start -> ( All ) Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt.
  • After opening the command prompt type
    “net user [username] [password]“

    and hit Enter.

The Syntax parameter definition is given below
  • [username] : The password of the account whose password is needed to be resetted , for our case that will be “Administrator”
  • [password] : The New password we wish to reset the account’s name password back to , in our case that would be demo.
  • Now see the following example.
  • See the above command has been completed successfully , now the password of “administrator” account has been changed to “demo” rather than what administrator had given for the account.
The Beauty of this hack is that this can be done from any other Less Priveledged XP User account on the same domain.

Using UltraSurf or FreeGate

 

If your Office or Institute has Blocked certain sites for Browsing / Surfing / Downloading then don’t loose hope Because there is a way to get rid of such Restrictions and i have myself tested on systems and they passed most of the test.

For the purpose of bypassing such restrictions we will use Third Party tools like “UltraSurf” and “FreeGate” .This guide will explain how to use such tools and surf without restrictions.
How These Tools Work ?

Ans : This Tools bypasses any firewall installed on a network. It uses port 9666 / 8580. Though you include this port on your firewall, it can’t be blocked.This uses SSL/TLS connectivity, so the firewall is unable to act as you can’t go about blocking ssl on your network as the business can’t do without that. It also uses random ports/ servers for connection. If you block the port on the firewall it will use another one.
Moreover this Properties of such tools have made UltraSurf and FreeGate a must tool for Bypassing Restrictions.
They are tunneling software.
It means that they runs on your PC as a server and all internet browsers on your PC connect to this server instead of connecting to the internet and websites directly, so this server takes the requests of the web browsers and encrypts them and sends them to an special internet server on the internet , the internet server decrypts the requests and collect information required from the Tunneling application from your PC, encrypts them and sends them back and the Tunneling application decrypts them and sends them to your browser and you can see what you wanted that the encryption is what hides your Online activity.
For this we need :
  • A PC on a LAN with a Restricted Access to the Internet.
  • The Software Clients.
  • A Browser to surf

Using UltraSurf
  • Download UltraSurf from UltraReach’s website
  • Or Directly Download from [Here].
  • Additionally FireFox users have to download a Additional Plugin along with this Software.You can download it by Clicking – [Here]
  • After you Download the UltraSurf Software just save it.
  • Firefox users additionally install the Supplied Plugin by Extracting the ZIP package and Draging and Dropping the ”wjbutton_en.xpi” on FireFox and then Install it and restart it to take effect.
  • Now Start the UltraSurf Program.
  • If the interface is not shown up then see if the firewall is Blocking access to it like the following as in case of ZoneAlarm.If it is then Allow all connections through it.
After Allowing connections , The Ultrasurf Window will show up along with a Golden Lock at the Lower Right corner of the Windows (Which notifies you of a Secure and encrypted connection).
Plus the above window will get open along with a Internet Explorer Window.Now When the Status Bar is showing errors then for sure the Connection is getting blocked somehow and the server couldn’t be contacted . If not then a status will display “Successfully connected to server!” and you can now freely browse using Internet Explorer but do remember to properly Exit UltraSurf to Close all secure and encrypted connection as well as all instances of Internet Explorer.
Additonal Note : You can also Specify your Proxy address and Port Address to the UltraSurf By Clicking on the “Option” Button and Enter the Specifed Proxy Server address and Port number.

Using FreeGate
  • First Download FreeGate from [Download.com]
  • Then Run the Software after Download.
  • FireFox users Download the GProxy Plugin from [Here]
  • The Software will try to Bypass the FireWall and Try to set up a Secure connection.
  • After thats done the Interface of FreeGate and Internet Explorer can be seen.
  • The Interface and configuring steps of FreeGate is More or less same as UltraSurf as both has the same function and the same features.
However there is a Much Higher Restriction Policy on the use of FreeGate so you won’t be able to Visit sites which are blocked as Per FreeGate Policy of site surfing.

So i guess at the end of the day UltraSurf wins over FreeGate if we take the Ease of configuration / Operating / Independency of Internet Surfing in Mind.
